The Reactor Vessel Leak Detection System from PAI is meant to identify the leakages from Reactor Vessels at an early stage. Reactors almost always start leakin from the weld joints of liner. I the leak is not attended and carbamate comes in contact with the shell, a catastrophic situation can develop.
PAI provide a Leak Detection System that circulates Instrument Air around the weld joints of the vessel. Any leakages through the weld joints mix with the Instrument Air and the Ammonia in the mixture is detected by a choice of sensing devices.
The design and build of the Leak Detection System is such that the Operation is very simple and reliable. Key features and benefits -
- Very Simple to run and operate: Ensures high reliability and minimum routine checks and maintenance
- Performance checks can be conducted at desired intervals to test proper functionality.
- No Wiring on Reactor Vessel walls: easier Installation in running plant if retrofit is required.
- Fast General Leak Detection and step-by-step simple operation to narrow down leakage to faulty sections of Reactor Vessel.
